Myths are so valuable in the way that they talk about the culture of a certain group. According to F. Landa Jocano in 1969, Filipino mythology has not gotten as much attention in comparison to Greek or Roman mythologies which are offered and taught in different schools throughout the Philippines.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sugue and Reyes stated in 2022 that Philippine folk myths tell us about our culture and identity as Filipinos; they tell us about our beliefs and values and how we view the world. It\u2019s important that we don\u2019t lose sight of these myths and continue to share and celebrate their existence.
